Customer Review: BEST baseball game ever!!!
If you want to get a real baseball thrill this is the game you! If you are like me and want updated rosters than you mite not like this game. But you can do what my friend did and update the rosters yourself.{which takes a long time}. The dynasty mode is very easy because if you do good the manager will give you 10-13 million dollar raise. The owner mode is not to bad. You get to creat your own ballpark which includes creating your ballpark name which goes on the corny score board you get stuck with unless you pay 2.5 million dollars out of the 5 million you get. You also can buy fireworks, ads, more seating, updated scoreboard, and bigger lights {the upgrades have 4-5 levels for each thing it costes more money the higher the level gets}.You also can buy food stands and stuff like that. I will give you a tip. When trading in owner mode if the team won't take what you think is a fair trade put the worst player on there team in the trade and there is a 85% chance they will take. The creat a player is pretty cool to. The biggest con to this game is the fact that if play this on the computer {like I do} It's impossible to steal unless the pithcher makes a wild pitch or throws a very slow pithch. If you do want a updated version check out MVP baseball NCAA. Overall though this is a very good game!
Customer Review: EA Sports steals the show!
Possibly the best baseball game in history. This game is truely addicting as you find yourself playing from sun-up to sun-down. There are numerous different game modes: Dynasty Mode: You take your team to the top over a maximum span of 120 years. You draft young talent and bring it up through the farm to create the next Henry Aaron or Cy Young. You control the MLB,AAA,AA, and A clubs. Owner Mode: Take your team to the bank as you try to earn money. You start off by creating your own ballpark to play in and possibly upgrade as you get more money! All in all this game is great because you can download numerous updates at www.mvpmods.com. There you can find new rosters, cyberfaces, and stadiums.

It Took Nine Long Years

Rookie Record Breaker

Several times he considered giving up and seeking another calling. Nevertheless, he knew, believed in his heart, that given a chance he would be a success at the Major League level. Three years ago an injury opened a spot on the Milwaukee Brewers. The team took a chance on Scott Posednik, believing he would be a back-up player until the injured star returned. This was the chance he dreamed about since Little League in West, TX. He never looked back.

Scott Posednik heard the dreaded word NO for years. Every business start-up, inventor or entrepreneur faces the same hurdle at various points in time. Mr. Posednik did not like hearing the cursed word, but it did not deter him from seeking and attaining his goals. It is the same for every successful entrepreneur. NO has to be handled as a temporary roadblock, not a final, death knell for opportunity.

A Baseball Player as an Entrepreneurial Role Model

The Chicago White Sox are champions because they do the little things better than any team in baseball. A team with virtually no stars vanquished other squads with more All-Stars and much higher payrolls. This is a template that every inventor can use as a positive example. Creativity, effort, diligence and determination can overcome almost any obstacle. Scott Posednik and the Sox are real world models we can all admire and emulate.

A Baseball Player as an Entrepreneurial Role Model

As a 29-year old rookie, Scott Posednik hit over .300, scored over 100 runs and stole over 50 bases. He played the game with drive, hustle, smarts and courage. Mr. Posedniks value has rapidly escalated and during the off-season he was traded to the White Sox for power hitting Carlos Lee. The White Sox had not won the World Series in 88 years. Hitting in the key leadoff spot, stealing bases and playing sparkling outfield defense, Scott Posednik is the emotional leader of the new champions.

Success is very seldom linear. Setbacks, stumbles, mistakes happen, will happen and must be handled as challenges, not disasters. Thomas Edison performed over 1000 experiments before perfecting the electric light bulb.
That is a lot of NO! He never thought of stopping his pursuit of success, and no successful entrepreneur ever let NO stop the drive to succeed.

Scott Posednik was born and raised in tiny West, TX. West is a hamlet, founded, and still principally inhabited by Czech immigrants. No great sports traditions here. As a 150-pound outfielder, Mr. Posednik was drafted and played minor league baseball for nine, very long, frustrating years. Every year in spring training, Mr. Posednik would be returned to the minor league camp, traded from team to team and generally stuck with the label not a prospect.

A Model for Entrepreneurs as Well
